I do have a great option for you, however we no longer carry the Convert-A-Ball Fire Pit you mentioned in your question. What I recommend instead is the Camco Big Red # CAM58035, which features a nice compact design, realistic logs, and includes a 10 foot long propane hose to hook up to your tank.

After checking out the fire pit it has a standard POL type fitting on the factory hose. By switching this hose with the Quick Disconnect Propane Hose part # 37207-31195 you will be able to plug the grill directly into the existing quick connect port on your camper. The Big Red Portable Campfire # CAM58035 is a propane fire/grille and was designed to be cooked on if wanted as it has a cooking grate part # CAM58038 that has been certified by USA and Canada as safe. I would say that you could use the heat from the campfire, but not the direct flame. You could lay the hotdogs in a pan on the grill and hold the marshmallows above the flame, but not in it. Thanks for the picture of what you need. I see your grill came with a special regulator that has an inlet for a 1-pound propane bottle and a quick connector on the other side. This unit is not something that we sell.
The closest thing we have to that is a MB Sturgis # 108072 Single-Stage Propane regulator with one inlet and one outlet which are both 1/4" Female NPT.
On inlet side you could attach the JR Products # 37207-30185 adapter which will attach to your 1 pound propane cylinder.

By my calculations the centerline of the burner in the Portable Gas Grill with Carrying Bag - Black Item # 277-000091 to the surface it is mounted to is approximately 21 inches or so. At that distance the amount of heat that would reach the RV wall is minimal and not nearly enough to damage it.
